How To Get There
From Singapore
Ferries operated by Bintan Resort Ferries ply from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) in Singapore to Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry (BBT) in Bintan. Ferry ride to BBT takes approximately 60 minutes. Get your tickets online at www.brf.com.sg.
Note: We suggest that on the trip to Bintan, you take the starboard (right side) seats in the ferry so that just as the ferry approaches our hotel, you would have an unhindered view of our entire ship and Anchor Isle. And upon leaving for Singapore, to take the portside (left side) seats.
Bus (Service Number 35) stops in the compound of TMFT and one can board this bus at Bedok Bus Interchange. The ride takes about 35-minutes.
Alternatively, ample parking is available at TMFT, but can be somewhat costly if parking there for extended periods. (Parking charges: SGD$1.50 per hour or part thereof, up to a maximum of SGD$28 per day.)
Upon arrival at BBT, it is just a 2-minute ride by car to Doulos Phos (we provide free 2-way transport for all staying guests), and some guests have even chosen to take the short 10-minute scenic walk in.
By Land Transport within Bintan
For local Bintan residents, or visitors entering Bintan via other entry points, Doulos Phos can be accessed by land transport as well. Enter Bintan Resorts’ land off Jalan Raya Tanjung Uban and follow signs for BBT Ferry Terminal, then make a left and drive along the coastal road towards Doulos Phos. Free outdoor parking is available within the hotel premises.
From Batam
If coming from neighbouring Batam, your Batam speedboat from Punggur Ferry Terminal will take you on a 15-minute ride to Tanjung Uban in Bintan. From Tanjung Uban, you will need to arrange a taxi or car-hire to bring you on a 30-minute ride to Doulos Phos.
Getting Around Bintan
We have regular licensed transport providers (either bus or car) to cater to your shopping, sightseeing, or gastronomic tours of Bintan Island which incidentally is approximately 2.5 times the size of Singapore.
